Jo Woo-chan (조우찬) is a South Korean rapper who debuted independently in 2019.
Career[]
2017-2019: Show Me The Money 6, OG School Project, departure from Cube Entertainment[]
He first appeared on Show Me The Money 6 as a Cube Entertainment trainee. He was the youngest contestant on the show but survived until the semi-finals. He then became a member of OG School Project, a collaboration project between Cube Entertainment and Starship Entertainment, alongside trainees Park Hyeon-jin and Achillo. Their first and only single “OGZ” was released on January 5, 2018.
On July 13, 2019, Woo-chan revealed that after his appearance on Show Me The Money 6 he decided to go back to studying while he continued to work on music by himself, thus confirming his departure from Cube Entertainment.
2022: Trainee A[]
On January 8, 2022, it was revealed that Woo-chan had become a member of BigHit Music’s predebut boy group Trainee A, having stayed as a hidden member for months prior to the announcement. In the end, the group's debut was cancelled without previous notice from the company after several months of sudden inactivity. All of the group’s social media accounts were shut down on December 23, 2022.
2024: Blank[]
After months of inactivity on social media, he suddenly dropped the news of an upcoming album on April 8, 2024, with a series of pictures from the album's photoshoot. Blank was released on April 13, featuring a collaboration with Kid Milli as one of the two title tracks.
